Camel Trophy.........Ford Focus!
Just been to the village shop to get my weekly newspaper and as I walked back along the Main Street a long cavalcade of dressed up cars on some sort of Help for Heroes fund raiser drove passed. One of the cars was a very low rise Camel trophy liveried Mk1 Ford Focus tricked up with a home made expedition roof rack loaded with spare wheels and Jerry cans, stickered with all sorts of off-road stickers and national flag stickers - it was even repainted the right Desert Sand colour - even the steel wheels. Wish I had had my phone on me to take a picture. I wonder if it might have been somebody on the forum?
Also in the line of cars - an RAF blue painted S Type Jaguar with tailplane and rondels on the doors, an MGF made to look like One of the Thunderbirds rockets. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!
