I have the pleasure of Cabot Circus in Bristol or Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth.

Er, no.

I'll wait until they've been out 2 years, have introduced the commercials, offer petrol engines with modest power and modest hybrid and..... we've seen the warranty figures. Rolling with laughter

They won't have a clue what it is. Laughing

Castleford is only 50 minutes away but I think I'll wait until it is launched at one of my local dealers in December. I'll not be buying so there is no rush. Defender 90XS SW

Are you familiar with the phrase "honeypot trap" - given the number of "wasps" that already frequent the car parks there, if I was going I'd not be taking mine. Whistle

I went along this morning and there were not many people interested in it, no crowds or queuing, I would say most there where already owners of Land Rover products........... I was impressed with the fit and finish and it certainly didn’t feel plasticy - the car on show was a D240 110 HSE in Pangea Green with a body coloured roof.
The Clearview rear view mirror was in operation and impressive BUT I could not see how you would keep the camera lens clean on a wet motorway, I couldn’t see any washer nozzle like LR fits to the RRS and FFRR reversing camera. The rear view mirror camera is located up on the roof in the base of the shark fin antenna - I would image it will not stay clear very long on a wet streaming motorway or dual carriageway.. I sat in the front and rear and both seats were extremely comfortable, definitely more comfortable than my 90’s (which I don’t find uncomfortable even though they are 23 years old).
Another small issue - I couldn’t see how you could fit recovery points strong enough for off-road recoveries without paying LR mega-bucks to have the two orange rings at the back that are a factory fitted extra........ it maybe that the screw-in stainless steel recovery eye supplied with most new cars these days are strong enough, but I doubt it. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

Very interesting to hear that you say the quality is very good and not plasticy yet others say the opposite. I’m guessing the one you saw was closer to the production version. Any photos?

Hi Tim.

Did you get any pictures. The version I saw and added pictures elsewhere was a silver 110 SE that was a hand built pre production vehicle.

Did yours have the engine cover and the rear underfloor molded tray installed?

How did the green look in real life?

Cheers

Saw it in the flesh in Glasgow yesterday... My god it's all plastic.... wow... I didn't know you could nearly make a whole car out of the stuff...
It's now just yet another school run car... nothing to see here people move along...

I was really hoping LR would make something a bit left field rufty tufty, But sadly not... Seems their market is now the fashionistas and eternally in debt car lease brigade...

Just my 2p's worth It doesn't matter how bad it is, It can always get worse...
