Desperate times!!!!

Got through the first three series in the last few weeks, one more series to go.

Series 4 is not going to be finished before this evening. Thank goodness for catch-up TV.

It’s Packy Lee. He’s a really lovely guy and brilliant craic at work functions!

That’s great to know. I really like his character Thumbs Up

There were two other heartening stories this week about two other actors in Peaky Blinders.

The first was Harry Kirton who plays Finn Shelby. He works part time in a cafe to keep his feet on the ground.

The second was Cillian Murphy doesn’t do the red carpet celebrity stuff.

I really enjoyed Game of Thrones, but it’s getting a bit tiring with the stars apparently doing interviews trying to explain their characters thinking. Surely that was George RR Martin or the screen writers job Whistle

Not a politically correct character these days but the actor who played Alf Garnet, Warren Mitchell was interviewed and asked what Alf would have thought. Graciously he replied that he was just the actor, what Alf thought was the writer, Johnny Speight’s job, not his!

Back to Peaky Blinders, just started series 4 so I have a bit of catching up to do.

I thought the finale was a bit of a let down. Too predictable and I thought and the whole series storyline seemed a bit rushed. Although bringing Alfie back from the dead was worth it if only for the dialogue.

I like the clothing. They are quite stylish gentleman. Loved that Jewish Cockney gangster a while back.

You can buy shirts, waistcoats and caps (without the razor blades) from the Black Country Museum, Tipton, in the Black Country - not Birmingham Whistle

There was a cracking video put up by BBC News the other day showing which bits of the museum were used for filming

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-england-b...g-location

It's definitely worth a visit Thumbs Up

That's Alfie. Great character played very well by Tom Hardy.

Have been reading about the Black Country. Iron and coal industry. Tolkien's inspiration for Mordor apparently. The Tipton museum looks really interesting.
