If it left the UK in 2016 I wonder how he got it through US import regs which are exceptionally strict for post 1977 Land Rovers - only stuff pre 1977 IIRC can be imported to US without problems. Basically only stuff pre USA airbag rules can get in on a special licence - there was recently a big haul by Homeland Security of Puma Defenders claiming to be pre-1977 cars! Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

I thought the US had a rolling 25 year rule? There are certainly companies advertising exports on that basis. Darren

Am I right in thinking that even with the 25 year rule, you can still ship a vehicle over for temporary use? Road trip etc? Perhaps he came down from Canadia? Monsieur Le Grenadier

I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list.....

Yes, you can still import newer own vehicles for temporary trips. The vehicle in the OP though is a 1991 vehicle and so is already around 28 years old and if Fred Moline is the owner, then he's from Florida. Darren
