130 TD5 Resto
My first post on the forum, although been visiting a lot but not actively contributing.
Developed mechanical skills over the years and been enjoying and restoring motorcycles, cars and boats in many shapes and forms.

11 years it has been since I bought the Tangerine Orange 130 TD5.
Over the years it has brought us to many places around Europe and North-Africa.

In those years I've done quite a few upgrades so it was all smooth runnings.
Currently it has 250K on the clock and with a stage 2 engine tune, intercooler & ECU upgrade it was doing quite fine.
But the older and not-so-neat paint job - 130 was never delivered in G4 orange - and the undercarriage was up for a refresh.
So what started with a quick fix of rear cross-member and a respray has now escalated to a full nut-and-bolt resto.

Considered at least a year to complete it. Got time and space so better do it right.
Thanks for all your support and looking forward sharing below process with you guys and learn along the way.
The power of a forum lays in the collective knowledge and is indispensable. Bow down

2" higher main springs, support springs are std. Any plug&play solutions to match them? Dont believe the helper springs come 2" extended. So the spring base or upper part needs some modification

Couldnt lift the whole body off at once on my own so taking it all apart, media blasting and painting individual parts before reassembling.
