2.2 flywheel replacement - how common?
Just wondering how common this is?

65 plate 90 in for new clutch and an Ashcroft shaft/ atb lt230 at 45k miles... bought a clutchfix clutch but the mechanic said the fly has burn mark hotspots on it and needs to be replaced.

Kicking myself as the LOF clutch kit is available with their own replacement flywheel for 500quid all in... I've had to stump up for a new LR flywheel at 500quid alone and then I've paid for the clutch on top.🙄

Mechanic said the friction plate was knackered, broken springs etc. Will post photos when I collect it.
