My 110 WOLF
Well, it seems Defenders still have a draw for me.

I am soon to take delivery of my freshly demobbed 110 WOLF and will no doubt be doing a few things to it.

Once I have it, I can take some photos!

Watch this space. Cool 2016 D4 HSE

Looking forward to the photo's. I have been looking myself, some nice 110's and 90's coming to the market at more realistic prices now. I think the 110 is overlooked by many on favour of the 90 but from what I have seen you get a lot more for your money with the 110.

Is it green, green black or green sand? 2010 XS USW

It seems the MOD prep some for demobbing and spray the entire thing inside out in Nato Green. Even the chassis and drivetrain has been done.

I plan to make it green and black camo paint scheme, Dinitrol the chassis and drivetrain, get it fully serviced (engine oil, oil and air filter, cambelt, water pump, clutch fluid, brake fluid, coolant flush) and then I can drain and refill diffs, GBox and TBox, top up swivels etc.

As it comes with zero history it will be good to start knowing all that has been taken care of. It will likely need new tyres all round, the Spare G90 is new so I will leave that as is.

I don't plan to do anywhere near as much as my previous Defenders, this is most definitely an army truck that will not get too much modification, if at all. I'd like to keep it original but refurb and restore parts etc.

I have already bought a few bits to get it back to OE spec, so a bonnet mounted shovel, pick axe, the straps to hold them down, a 5 ton webbing recovery strop for the front of the bonnet, a replacement bumper recovery pin, and of course, the official Nato Green and black satin paint. 2016 D4 HSE

Here’s a few shots of when it arrived. Managed to get some shots of the Underneath. It’s all rock solid. Not a spec of corrosion under the fresh wax and paint.

And today I tinkered for the first time. Checked all the fluids and then fitted new straps for the pioneer tools on the bonnet.

Will remove a lot of things I don’t need like the SA80 racks and radio wiring.

New tyres are ready to fit. Those BFGs look awesome!

Excellent. Hard as nails!
Love the wheel on the side look. Interesting the still provided the bonnet fixing as well as the side. Just need a couple of wing boxes now to finish the job Thumbs Up 2010 XS USW
