Tow ball -lowering
Hi Folks,

I’ve done some searching on this topic and want to confirm I am ordering the right parts

Problem: At its lowest setting the tow ball is too high relative to the trailer (Brian James Race Transporter 4).

Solution (?): Buy this kit, made by Dixon Bate’s, which allows lower tow ball.

TOW KIT ADJ - 90/110
Part Number DA2121.C8
Weight (+ vol) 18.00 kg
Brand: DIXON BATE
Supplier: BRITPART

If someone could confirm/ deny I have it right? Also if you have a decent supplier then that would be appreciated.

For completeness here are a couple of photos of existing tow bar set up.

Many thanks 👍

Yes - but you need to buy the correct version as the brackets on your 2015 90 are different to the pre-1998 ones which that linked one is designed to fit.

You need this one:

Or.... do what I did and lower the rear suspension. My trailer sits level now, and I have a much better on-road ride, without much deterioration in off-road capability...

Good catch... Did not consider Model Year.

I think this is the right part LR007221.
Note: told by Brit-Part it is out of stock.🙄

Many thanks.

Never thought on doing that. I’ll go and look at the ‘90 and see how she sits.🤞
