I went a few years back and didn’t like it but I’m a avid fan of Billing, so everyone has to start somewhere and hoping it’s going to be better! I’m off camping there Friday 2016 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 TDV8

Was thinking about going for the day on Saturday. Never been before.

Weather (BBC) looks pants both days at the weekend so wondering now if I will bother as it is a lot further than Peterborough for me. Not keen on walking around a field in rain. That would be a real shame for the organisers.

I did chuck a bucket of water over the truck this afternoon with the prospect of going

Try XCweather website far better than the BBC one. All the charter skippers down here use it Thumbs Up 2015 HT XS 90

I actually find the BBC weather app fairly accurate on a daily basis. It's a shame they now use Meteogroup instead of the supporting the Met office but they were obliged to go for the cheaper service. The Met office app is OK but I find the XCWeather one a bit too clunky.

31 degrees today was brain meltingly hot so I'm looking forward to some rain. But I'm not attending Kelmarsh...

Weather on Sunday is now looking better (still using the BBC weather) Thumbs Up

This now gets me concerned that after a day of rain, the car park will be too muddy to access with my Defender Whistle

Thinking about going on Saturday: no such thing as the wrong weather, just inappropriate clothes.

Scuse my ignorance, but why does the Met Office need supporting? JB

It's the UK’s National Meteorological Service. Meteogroup is a foreign privately owned business based in Holland.

Supporting was possibly the wrong word but personally I would prefer the BBC used them instead.

Well, the BBC has changed its idea about the weather again Crying or Very sad

Warm and wet weather to me Widget gives me a wardrobe malfunction! I wear waterproofs and sweat like a pig. The result is I could have been drier standing in the rain without the waterproofs.

Might need to invest in some quality breathable waterproofs, or of course go naked. Im not sure the world or at least Kelmarsh is ready for that, quite yet Rolling with laughter
