Series Doors for 90 tdi soft top
Looking to complete the hard top to soft top look, canvas all on, just want to replace 1 piece doors with new series, two piece with removable door tops.

Any recommendations on best supply company for full kit, ready to fit.

Thanks

I have had mine about a year ago from Paintman Panels, good fit and well made.

SP4x4 for kits.
They have brackets for door switches which Paintman ones don't.

SP4x4 kits are probably fine but they can be a nightmare to deal with.
Documented elsewhere, I have just bought a pair of galvanised Defender doors (c/w steel skin) and while the doors were ok (well, after one had been returned & replaced due to faulty manufacture) they are truly horrible to deal with. Comms are very poor and while I was very polite they were still not pleasant, heaven knows what they are like if you loose your cool?!?! ONE LIFE, GET IT!

Dave at Paintman is a nice guy to deal with. My one experience with SP was poorly manufactured doors that were delaminating at some of the welds and the hole for the door lock was in the wrong place. Initially difficult to contact but to be fair when I did get through to someone they were quite helpful and arranged to take the doors back and refunded the money.
Others have had a good experience with SP but at the time I wanted some doors Paintman offered a better product.

I too am in the process of sourcing series doors for my 90, as a my current doors are Censored .

Having looked at SP4x4, paintman panels & rocky mountains websites I think my plan will be:

SP4x4 - Defender Series door conversion (bottom half only)
Rocky mountain door tops.

From looking this seems to be the best combination i can find.

The rocky mountain tops are not supplied with glass. Anyone know if cheapo paddocks glass is good or is it thin and weak? Or is glass just glass and I'm talking nonsense Laughing

Also need to source some new hinges....if anyone has affordable recommendations.

Sorry to take over the thread it just saves me starting a new one Rolling with laughter

they look great! but part of my issue with the current doors is the thick door cards dont give my knees any space! are these the same?

These more or less sit flush with the frame, so take up very little room.
