[SOLD] Fantastic Discovery 1 - 300tdi

I have for sale

Fantastic Discovery 1 Argyll Model in Blue, 5 door and 7 seater.

300tdi, Manual, Genuine 83k miles, 1 owner from 1997-2019, completely original and unmolested, even has the original radio still fitted. 2 keys, drives very well with no gearbox crunches.

All electric windows work, all RCL works, none of the locks have dropped, original boot floor, still even has the original number plates fitted from supplying dealer.

10 Months MOT remaining. currently not taxed and parked in a secure dry unit.

being honest, it has a minor oil leak, it has a few marks, but nothing major at all, it has had a small weld repair on the o/s/r arch which is the only repair done, original boot floor and everywhere else is perfect.

This is in better condition than the D1 I bought in 2007 which was 10 years old at the time.

I was thinking £2650 sounds realistic with the way they're going. for me it's as good as you'll get nowadays for a D1 that's original and unmolested, I would love to keep it but I just don't need it.

Had a couple of Disco 1’s, probably my favourite cars. Great to drive, comfy and affordable. Hopefully someone will enjoy it for what it is and not decide to chop it at a later date! The Argyll was quite swanky as far as I remember

2008 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 USW Cairns Blue

I bought an Argyle from new, only regretted it when the sun roof started to leak. Traded it for the Defender and I miss the comfort . Don't make old people mad.

Thanks James, bit reluctant to let her go, if it doesn't sell I think I would keep it.

I had a chap wanting it the other day and wanted to p/x his working D1 against it. but we couldn't agree on a figure.

I think the D1’s were better built than the D2. I had a D2 from 2003 to 2015, looked after but parked outside and it was rusted to

when I traded it in for the Defender at the main dealers. I think it must have gone to scrap as it was never taxed or MOT’d after. 2012 110 XS SW Orkney Grey
