Nolden headlight problem.. stoped working
Hi

I use the Nolden headlights since 2013 with great comfort.

Yesterday one of them started blinking and after 10 seconds it stops. If I put off the lights and turn them on again, the same story.. 10 seconds okay.. blinking.. stop...

Is this the end, or is there somthing I can do myself?

regards

Quirin

Is it the headlight causing the problem or the vehicle wiring causing the issue?

Either swop the headlights over and if the issue stays on same side then it is an issue with the vehicle.

Or take the faulty headlight off and with a new clean H4 connector try it on a fully charged battery.

I am not aware of any LED headlight being repairable.

My first thought would be a wiring issue or a connection issue.

Checked the volatage at the enterance of the headlight and it is normal without dips.

It seems like an internal (circuit) problem to me.

10 seconds okey
flickering and mainbeam comes in (5 seconds).
all lights out...

Anyone else had problems with the Nolden Headlights?

I have send Noldon an email, but they are not responding.

Lights are 4,5 years (50.000 km) old.

If this is it I am very disapointed. 850,- for a set of lights for such a short periode.

Have you tried swopping the headlights over?

Checking just the voltage is only a very simple test as a voltmeter basically draws no current.

What age is the vehicle? Is dim dip system fitted?

I have not heard of this type of problem before with Noldens.

I have the same problem. Yesterday worked and today no longer.
Bought a pair in German Ebay a few months ago.
The work was about 20 hours in total.
I checked the power supply, swapped it with a working light. No sign of life.
I wrote to the seller, I wrote to Nolden - so far nothing.
It looks very high quality, but in reality is a little c Exclamation Question p.
I think to buy one JWSpeaker and install it in a pair with Nolden, at the same time I will test which of them is better.
Although there is no confidence in Nolden at all. Do not buy the Nolden.
