Minerva?
I had a bit of a leftfield impulse idea and thought why not Rolling Eyes

I know the front wings may be a little challenged visually, but what better way to get the back to basics 80" rag top experience at the price?

I can do cosmetic checks and my very good mate can to the engine and structural stuff, so what's not to like Question

Not at all put off by LHD but do not want a restoration project

All advice gratefully received to avoid going down a road I shouldn't Laughing Rob

I have always thought in this day and age a Minerva is a good way into 80'' ownership. Snap one up before the prices go crazy like the LR version.

Spotted this tonight, definitely a restoration project but it has attitude!! Thumbs Up

Have a look for the Minerva Appreciation Society on facebook for ideas and possible vehicles for sale. They were dirt cheap some time ago but like everything the prices are creeping up.

This one turned up at the Series One club rally last year - and carries the markings of a NATO unit that I served at in Germany in the 80s

A friend of mine sourced one via the well known (In Series One circles) Houben Family. Its very original, not done a lot of miles and dead straight and was about the third of the price of a similar 80in Series One. I like them and if you want one I would buy one now but do look at them carefully as there are some rough ones about.
