Blowing turbo gasket
A word of advice don,t try and change this gasket thinking its a quick job before tea! Got all the tools got an uprated gasket,3 nuts,1 haet shield and a support bracket. Simple Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter .The thread on 2 studs stripped, not a problem got some on shelve.Bloody stud broke off Big Cry Big Cry .So to take off exhaust manifold you remove, air box,fan cowl, ancillary belt, tensioner, idler, turbo, alternator, large alli casting on off side of block(only held on by 10 bolts).Oh what a joy that all was on a sunday night. My landy is now VOR til tuesday as I need a new manifold gasket.
Good old LandRover another winner.

The good news is the broken stud came out as easy as wink. Thumbs Up Its never over in my land rover.

Steve it was going to be a 30 job until one of the studs broke off,so complete exhuast manifold had to come off to remove broken stud.A task do on a bench easily and quickly, but would have been a nightmare insitu.
