Air suspension...
After much deliberation, I have decided to fit air suspension to my 90

Having had a look around, there are off the shelf kits that do everything I want, but are in excess of £5k Rolling with laughter

The hardware is not the issue, its the control system. Bags, compressor, tank etc are all fairly straightforward. For the control system, I need:

Preset programmable height adjustments
Self levelling
Compressor pressure monitoring

Is there anything available at a more reasonable price, either as a kit of separate components?

Maybe a D2 kit would work? I'm on IG: https://www.instagram.com/osloblue42/

I've been looking into this. I have everything I need apart from height sensors, air tank and controller.

I've been looking at the airlift 3H kit. Seems to be the ideal mix and match kit to me Thumbs Up

D2 kit is integrated into the SLABS ECU so wouldn't be suitable for the defender, also it only controls 2 springs. If you wanted 4 corner air suspension then you'd definitely need an aftermarket solution Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

The chap on the video is keen to use it in supermarket car parks which is about all it's good for

Air suspension on my D3 was nice but troublesome, expensive and not great for field repairs. One of the reasons I sold it to buy a defender.

I put springs on my Disco 3 having spent literally thousands of pounds on the air suspension set up. It's a no from me!

Why do Disco owners convert to springs and Defender owners think about converting to air?
