Cleaning Oil Sump Pan
Need to replace my Oil Sump Pan on my 90 Tdi Pickup, looked at a new Pan but at around £380 to over £400 decided to look for a used one.
Found this one, have cleaned initially most of the oil, crud and sealant off and will tomorrow give a final clean with brake cleaning fluid.
Would be most grateful for any advice on the best way to clean and prep ready for fitting? Also, is it worth getting the outside blasted and refinished?

To be honest that was basically what I was going to do, clean the inside then use Buzzweld Rust Encapsulator and chassis black to the outside.
