I would recommend getting a genuine JLR switch and only utilising the switch front/button from the bearmach switch > 110 XS Double Cab

Any idea which one is the cheapest genuine?
Feels like a stinger having already spent £25 on a switch ☹️

The Defender Puma heated seat switch YUF500150LNF is around £10

This is a live-switching switch, which uses the Black connector.

Wiring for this switch, is as shown in the lower diagram on Bearmach's sheet, i.e. -

Pin 1 - Live in from fused supply

Pin 2 - Dash illumination

Pin 3 - Not used (but is internally connected to Pin 5 - Earth)

Pin 4 - Switched live out to accessory (relay)

Pin 5 - Earth Paul.

Thank you Paul!
This is the second time you come to my rescue. Years ago now I was able to add central locking to my as10 td5 following one of your guides. So once again, mucho gracias!

The genuine heated seat switch worked perfectly. Just plugged it in without modifying any of the wiring I’d done.

Cheap ass Chinese Censored Censored Censored crap!
I wish bearmarch would have some form of quality control.
