Having said that, 99% of the football supprting public seem to think it's their duty to stoop ever lower in the pond-life scale of life; god knows why.

I go to athletics and tennis matches... nothing like that ever happens there.

As a young person I take offence to the fact that you imply we are all football hooligans

I will have you know that I am in fact an ice hockey fan

Deadly serious I saw malmo Redhawks play SKA st Petersburg and that was terrifying... I'm on IG: https://www.instagram.com/osloblue42/

Very few football supporters act that way but an unusually large percentage of England fans do.

The irony is they honestly believe they're being patriotic.

Sorry I did not mean to imply all the young are hooligans today, they are not at all. However 75 years ago irrespective of background, upbringing and the hand that fate dealt you the bullets and bombs maimed and killed just the same.

I was a teenager in the late 70's and 80's and the behaviour of football fans was horrendous, I shared far too many Euston / Lime Street InterCity trains with the pond life that pretended to follow football then, for some they followed football for the sole purpose of violence and destruction, those days fuelled my dislike of football which continues to this day. 130 Puma HCPU with an Artica 240LR Demountable Camper

laugh is I cannot see why football fans riot? you don't get motorsport fans or any other sport going on like that. sad if you ask me. I cannot stand the game at all, school finished me off with that, every sodding PE lesson was foot ball, and more football. Wasn't keen on it back then, now I wont even entertain it. Foot ballers need a bit of petrol or diesel running through their vanes like procta here Very Happy
Mind I have seen some bad videos of football rioters been sliced in the face, I think there was one in the daily mail last year. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back
