Hi, I'm looking for somebody who has NEVER driven any green lanes and would like to give it a try. Looking for somebody based around, or can travel to the Staffordshire/Cheshire/Derbyshire area. 2 vehicles max, around mid to late June, possibly on a Friday or Saturday. No catches, no ties, no favours, just want an enjoyable day out. No offroad or specialist equipment required at all, just a great appreciation for the countryside. In fact the more standard the vehicle the better, doesn't even have to be a Defender... Just must be 4WD and pref have low-range option. Does Thetford class as green laning?
   
Is the complete novice requirement so they don't show you up or something?  James

You don't have to be local to be fair, I was just thinking about driving this way, then 4-6 hours laning, then driving home may be a long day..
I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I'm just trying to find a date to suit... Plus I don't have a vehicle..... Though that'll change at the weekend |

The v8's done quite a bit of steady laning, the first day out after it was finished was spent across the Duchy of Lancaster's estate.
It got muddy, I was devastated |
