The Latest - 2011 110 CSW XS
I collected the new 110 Defender yesterday. Very pleased with the dealer service - Thanks Lancasters Thumbs Up

It's my third 110 CSW, and the second Puma 110 CSW. The first was very good, so I'm hoping that this one will be just as trouble free ......

Brand new at the dealers - just off the transporter.

Outside the dealers - paperwork complete and ready to leave. Rear step still to be fitted in next couple of weeks and just 8 miles on the clock Thumbs Up John

Nice and clean... Lovely.

Mine has now done it's first 1000 miles as of yesterday. Nothing fallen off yet, but had some wet carpets from the rain!

can't stop salivating at those pics JSG because my dealer confirmed build for late July yesterday and its going to look more or less the same as yours (apart from the Brunel grille - its black only for export models)

Just don't go looking for any Dinitrol as the entire 2011 production is stuck to Zagato's chassis! Laughing

gorgeous looking motor. I can't wait!

It does seem a long wait - but it will go. I ordered this one on 8th Feb, so just over three months which did seem an age at the time.

I think the first Puma was a similar wait but it was during the launch period so I went to the Eastnor launch and had a demo model for a day to break it up. Laughing John

I have noticed that one of the rear mudflaps isn't straight (Zag is rubbing off on me) so I'll look at that by the weekend and one of the rubber mats now has a mark on it - I told the kids to take their shoes off before getting in Rolling Eyes

The engine seems quiet (usual diesel rattle) after the 90 with it's loud exhaust and it has that lovely 'new car' smell that won't last long ....

I'm now used to the dash again - when I picked it up it seemed very close compared to the TD5 even though I've had a Puma before.

I'll now try not to be paranoid about every little noise and try not to re-read every recall bulliten looking for problems that don't exist Rolling with laughter John

my kids have already had the lecture

there will be no sweeties, lollipops, crisps or drinks allowed and they must travel with their hands in the air.
Any sticky hand prints on the windows will result in my pressing the factory fitted ejector seat button Twisted Evil

You should see what John says on some of the other boards he frequents!!!

Seeing all you chaps picking up shiney new 110's does bring just a little twinge of jealousy with it. Time to go look at the pile of bits in the yard and imagine my dream in canary yellow to take my mind off of things.
Looks a lovely barge though John.

It has now done about 130 miles and I'm still grinning. It now has some dirt on it as the weather has changed round here.

First problem to go on the warranty list has shown itself though - Two days out in the rain and not one drop / drip on the floor mats so the built in foot spa is obviously faulty - I thought it was standard in the Defender Whistle

The roof seal doesn't seem to have the standard gap either as braking doesn't give you that early morning 'shower fresh' feeling I was used to with the 90.

Cheers,
John John
