Well, it’s MOT time, I’d made a list of jobs, couple of bump stops missing, a rear brake calliper leaking, front wheel bearings need a tweak etc. Oh, and near side sidelight wasn’t working. Sooooo, new bulb didn’t cure, I checked for volts and there were none! Traced loom back to a connector on the bulkhead and disconnected. There is power on the bulkhead side. Continuity checked the cable down to the sidelight and sure enough it’s an open circuit. Wheelarch lip removal was enough to get the loom out (after unplugging Headlight and adjuster, horn, washer pumps, indicator, repeater and alarm module). This was the cause. New loom £128 from LR, so I’ll repair this one with solder and heat shrink. The simplest jobs eh! 😂

Well, a long overdue update!!!! Dec 2021 my last and MoT had run out. Poor old thing sat on the drive for almost a year, finally got it sorted and MoT’d Nov 2022, couple of minor advisories. Back in use since, I’ve built a nice collection of parts to fit, mainly bushes and a clutch kit. I was toying with selling it but I just can’t!! Going motor racing next year so I’ll need a tow car right? 😁
Wolfs badly need a refurb, might put some kind of locker doors in the rear quarters too. Did some laning, a few long trips too, bombs along beautifully still, 248k on the clock now. Also scored a cracking side gig instructing on at Goodwood on their fleet of Series 2/2A’s, that’ll help pay for its upkeep!!
