United Kingdom 2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 USW Zermatt Silver
I’ve been highly recommended the Davanti Terratoura.

I’d never heard of them but an English brand with some great engineering. I’m getting a set next time around.

I, like some, have used both. I preferred the Coopers for everything (look, noise, rain, dry etc) except snow, where the BFGs are clearly better. However, I’ll be needing a new set soon, and like you will be doing a lot of miles, 95% tarmac. As such, I’m going Cooper Zeon which look as good as the ST Maxx, but are far more road biased. I think they are rare in the UK, but might be a good balance of what you’re looking for:
