Looks like someone has completely re-worked the bulkhead based on seeing vent flaps held on by piano hinges and a very unusual oversized windscreen. it's a Landrover thing...

It's based on an Australian Perentie ambulance. Those vehicles started life as 110's but were massively re-engineered by Land Rover Australia, which included the third axle, a new galvanised chassis and widening the entire body by 4 inches or so. As a consequence, the bulkhead is a new fabrication. Darren

Of the Perenties I have seen here, all have the standard bulkhead and windscreen from that era. I have seen quite a few, but never that type of modification.

even though they were Defenders, other than the body and bulkhead, very little is LR. 3.9 Isuzu, Australian made galv frame etc. I think 70% of the truck had to be Australian domestically sourced (something like that to meet imports/tax, gov’t required regs) it's a Landrover thing...

I think that screen is standard on cabbed Perentie 6x6's.

I did, had a good deal and kept the vehicle for ten years 130k miles.
One of the best land rovers I’ve owned, and I’ve had quite a few.

Perenties generally came in two flavours - standard and wide body. The former retained the majority of LR bodywork including the bulkhead but the latter had the bulkhead as seen on this vehicle - at least those that had windscreens. Darren
