Breakdown breakdown in Coggeshall
Visiting my folks and saw this, so stopped to offer a hand- it had just run out of fuel so no drama. The young chap who owned it had pulled it from a field and fixed it up mechanically and this was its maiden voyage! Beautiful patina, great effort Bow down

Nice spot.

Fairly local to me, but I haven't seen it.

A few lads from Coggeshall (Series Two/Lightweight owners) come to our local pub meet.

I'll have to ask them if they know it.

The young man that owned it said he worked on classic Mercedes, so given the sign writing on this series he couldn’t resist it. He said his parents live at the top of Grange Hill, so all 100 yds from where he ran out of fuel. I wasn’t convinced it was a lack of fuel as it started and ran for a bit before cutting out. My guess was the hot weather and the carb set up not being happy bed fellows. Anyhoo hopefully he sorted it!

Much to the kids amusement he didn’t bat an eyelid at the Heritage. 🙄
