Annoyingly my heater fan no longer works on low speed, i believe the resistor has given in.
Does anyone happen to have one laying around at all in an old heater box? Cheers, Steve 02' 110 TD5 Double Cab Rebuild Thread 84' 90 3.9 V8 Caged Pickup Build Thread - Now For Sale Mobile Diesel Heater Build Thread |

I have something I bought off one of the forums - a resistor bypass - or something like that (?) Maybe even here, I just can't remember. In the end I didn't fit it when I rebuilt my heater as I went for one of the Landreiziger heater control kits.
I'll be out tidying in the garage shortly, so if I find it and your interested...? I think it was £10 or thereabouts. It was something to do with improving fan speeds by amending the resistor. My car's a 300tdi - so that style of heater. Hi Steve,
Sorry, but I'm afraid I've drawn a blank. I have looked everywhwre for this thing, but just can't put my hands on it. No doubt in 10 years time I'll find it and swear, but not at the moment. I can't think of a single likely box I haven't looked in. I did a little search, and it was a kit made by SimonB on LR4x4 that I bought - though that was back in 2015. He was selling them via the forum and on ebay, but I can't see anything at the moment. Apologies again - I did give it my best shot! Hi Steve,
Here's what I have. I must admit this is about the second time I've ever looked at the instructions although I've had this in the garage for 4 or 5 years. It doesn't mention removing the original resistor, but perhaps it's taken out of the circuit simply by amended the wiring at the switch end. I think I paid about £10 for this. If it's any use to you, then £12 posted? If you don't think it'll do the job, then no harm done.
