WATER JETS
Has anyone changed the water jet on a tdci and how much of the dash will have to come off to fit new one ?

garage did mine took about 10 mins only part of dash to remove is the centre where stereo is its 2 screws and its behind a plate in front of you

Did mine last week although ordered the wrong replacement - there’s a jet with a long thread (for Puma) and a shorter version (not Puma Rolling Eyes )

As corgi said, easy job - need radio removal tool and a trim remover kit is useful (few quid from Machine Mart). Bit of a faff getting the tube off the old nozzle but all manageable

Thank you ,changed the pump yesterday have upgraded the jet and will change tomorrow evening all being well

Jup shorter is for the rear and the long ones for the front. a defender from 1984 pretending to be a puma with a touch of Range Rover
