Sawtooth Wheel Cleaning
Gloss black sawtooth wheels require regular cleaning to remain smart looking.
So has anybody found a great tool for cleaning them with that is fast and effective without cleaning every spoke individually? 2016 Defender Landmark 90

Merlins blood works great. Spray on and wash off. Doesn’t compleatly remove scrubbing but definitely helps

Thank you all for your adcice some great products put forward.
I note that the collonite 845 is said to be best suited to lighter colours I wonder why that is and of course we want to apply to black wheels? 2016 Defender Landmark 90

I use the new Meguiars wheel cleaner, you put it on dry it changes colour and then wash off.
It's similar to the Bilberry stuff I'd imagine.

It takes off 98% of the grime without even touching it fact and the remains you could just wipe away with a microfibres cloth.
Possibly even repeat process but you'd need super heavy grime to need to at all.

It work well on chequer plate too, most grime will simply wash off without agitating it.

I don't polish the wheel after but I do wax them for protection, you could use the above suggestion or I use Meguiars Ultimate liquid wax.
Used to use paste but that has too much likelihood of contamination for my liking so I go for liquid or spray wax often both in different places now.

There will be a ceramic wax coming shortly too, but what ever brands you go for there are some ideas how I do mine.

These days I don't use anything on the wheels really to agitate the grime. Thumbs Up Diesels Lives Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️

Autoglym's 'Engine and Machine Cleaner' works very well on brake dust, and as a bonus, you can use it on your engine bay too:

I did initially apply wonder wheels sealant hoping that if i hosed them down I would be left with a shiny wheel but alas this was not the case. 2016 Defender Landmark 90

I've tried the Wonder Wheels sealant too. It's probably better than I expected, but I'm afraid I've yet to find anything that will really stop brake dust sticking.
