2015 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 SW Keswick Green

Engine warning light on after stall

My next door but one neighbour has a 2014 Puma, the other day he came round to tell me that he managed to stall it and once restarted the engine warning light stayed on. He says it seems to drive ok. He was going to take it to a main dealer to get them to sort it for him but I seem to remember there is a way to extinguish the light by switching the ignition of and on a few times but can’t remember the sequence.
Can someone with a better memory than me let me know what the sequence is so I can pass it on to Dave to avoid him heading to the Main dealer?

2008 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 CSW Alpine White

Probably an egr fault - should clear itself after a few driving cycles.
