[For Sale] BAS2 RRC OBD Remote Remap tool. Suits 2.4 or 2.2
As I am now Defenderless, I have a BAS remote remap tool for sale.

I've checked with Pete at BAS and to enable this tool it will cost £300 +VAT for a 2.4 map and £350 + VAT for a 2.2.

So £360 or £420 to pay to BAS to get the tool enabled for a new VIN number.

A new tool with remap from BAS is £654 (2.4) or £774 (2.2)

I'm offering the tool for £180 including insured postage to UK mainland.

So this would give a saving of £114 for the 2.4, or £174 for the 2.2.

I used the tool once to install the 150 map on my 2.2 at the end of 2017. Since then, its been stored inside the house.

Complete with USB lead and carry pouch. Full instructions for use are on the BAS website.

Taken from the BAS website, the tool also performs the following :

Diagnostic fault code reading and clear with worded text and snap shot data shown where present.
Live engine data logging with numerical and graphical views.
Save and export logs as PDF or CSV files.
DPF service functions, engine adaptation resets, clearing adaptive values.
Airflow meter reset, Fuel lift pump reset, Turbocharger replacement reset.
Storage of both original and tuned remap calibration files.
Injector coding reprogramming or replacement.
Defender 2.2TDCi oil counter reset.
Defender 2.2TDCi Renew security ID use for fitting new PCM’s

Can this take any map (150 and/or 170)? If so, can I have first dibs please?

Hi Joe, it's the same tool for both maps but Pete may charge more for the higher power map. The price comparison I showed was based on the 150 map for the 2.2. Do you want to check with Pete before deciding? 1st dibbs is yours though until you let us know. Even if Pete does charge more for the 170 it will still be a good saving on buying new tool and map.
