Need a new fob programming and local auto lock smith is quoting £120 to program it and cut 2 blank keys which i supply, which seems steep! so any members able to program it locally?
happy to offer slab of beer and/or beer tokens  plus a good natter about defenders lol 2011 Santorini Black USW XS.

Timpsons wont cut any key not supplied by them

Are you sure that's not just local or have ayou tried different places? I had no trouble at all when I used them locally a few years ago and it was very reasonable too.
LR just farm out the key cutting anyway, and charge a fortune for the privilege. At the time I had two new Genuine keys to get cut and a fob too. I think the key cutting was £25 or something like that for both I think, but memory is sketchy. They do need the original of course too. It was a Timpsons at a Tesco I went, but perhaps thing she have changed. I hope not though as they did a great job nevertheless ever had a problem. _\Hennessey|Venom| F5/___

Had my keys cut at Cobblers Cabin in Risca Ken. Opposite Texaco, next to Tamarind.

I paid a £5 for a random cobblers/key cutter to do my genuine key
