Steering damper upgrade
Just upgraded my suspension dampers (Bilstein B6s) and so far pleased with the results. Slightly firmer ride which is not ideal for anything that rattles but far more composed in the corners. Anyhow, got me thinking whether I should do the same with the steering damper. Is this something worth doing? Currently not convinced that it will make any noticeable difference but would be great to hear from those who have done this mod!

The general consensus is that fitting an upgraded steering damper to fix a problem is merely masking the problem. If yours is old and worn out you will probably notice an improvement by replacing for a new OEM one.

Having said that, many people are happy with their upgraded ones, and if you want something new and shiny on the front end, go for it!

worth remembering that the steering damper isn't really a necessity in the first place. They were only ever an option on earlier models It is not a Defender, it is a One_Ten
