I think I’m right in saying Nemesis wheels can use standard defender wheel nuts whereas twisted wheel nuts are specific looking closely at the pictures on eBay these do appear to twisted based upon the above reasoning.

Someone could get a cheap set of 18” twisted wheels Thumbs Up

Also Looking at the depth of the offset in the photos, they seem to be ET0!!
Although I think Twisted make alloy wheels with ET+10 as well, same as Nemesis.

I was thinking of bidding on them but the tyres put me off.
I have 13” steering wheel and my tyres are 235s at the present which is fine, no issues.
Correct me if I am wrong but if I go up to 285s, I would need arms like Arnold to control the Landy going over pot holes🤨!

Cheers guys. They do look lovely, with or without the caps.
I admire the confidence in people to say they are twisted wheels. I really can't tell so sticking with my boosts for now.

They are 100% twisted wheels. I can tell because I've got nemesis fitted on mine - I've cleaned them so many times I know what they look like Rolling with laughter

Nemesis wheels have a flare at the rim end of the spokes, twisted ones don't. Here's a picture of the nemesis fitted on mine.

If you look closely, the nemesis wheels spokes thin slightly in the middle, the twisted ones are one constant, but shallow, taper from centre to rim.

Also the twisted wheel nut holes are smaller as they don't take standard wheel nuts Thumbs Up

If they were nemesis wheels they wouldn't be sold with the nuts as they take standard nuts.

The Nemesis use proper wheel nuts, that don't bite into alloy when tightened.

Twisted were a poor design from the get-go (before they bought the rights) with smaller nuts that chew into the wheel when tightened. (unless the design has changed, then I'll stand corrected. A mate had them on an Ibex)

It's better to have big nuts. Mr. Green

Grafty do you have spacers fitted with your Nemesis - or are they just standard offset as they look really well - I’m tempted to buy a Set Thumbs Up

I was in for a grand as I’d have to go and collect them which would be another £160

Maybe I’ll place a bid towards the end if they don’t get much higher.

But I reckon they will breach the 2K mark. 2011 Defender DCPU 2.2 - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic30623.html

Thank you Grouse Bow down
No spacers, just ET10 with 285 tyres. The wheels are 18 x 9 inch. The tyres are bang on the limit when drawing a plumb line from the edge of the arch to the edge of the tyre Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon
