United Kingdom 2010 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Santorini Black
Which design cues would you like to see carried over?
Obviously there will be a 'jelly-moldfication' of the silhouette but the new Defender will also have to carry over a few design cues for continuity and at least a nod to the past.

For me the 7" round headlights, sidelight and indicator arrangement are non-negotiable. Grille and spare on rear has to repeated as well.

What do you lot think has to carry over on the new Defender?

It must have spiders and leak, just like the original, otherwise, no matter what marketing gimmicks are carried out it will not be a 'Defender' Rolling with laughter For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

Alpine windows, round head lights and 3 front seats would be awesome. James

The ability to mount equipment such as a snowplough, cherry picker, or spectacle lift would be good.

Not likely however.

Blimey, sounds like there's going to be a lot of disappointment when it eventually appears. Darren

Alpine windows, flat glass/flat styling, 'friendly' looking headlight/indicator layout, wolf wheels.

Probably wont have too many fans of this but I quite like the Puma bonnet myself Embarassed Solved the bowel problem, working on the consonants...

Agree totally it will be an accountants car, made by bean counters to sell the most cars ,for max profit .A missed opportunity to design out the flaws in the defender and build the best utility off roader their is.

I hope to be surprised but i think it will be a hotspotch of bits of the cars in the stable at the moment at a very high price!...anybody got any recent pics? Are they doing away with ladder frame?..sorry if im behind the curve!

Do people think the delay is because they are taking time to get it right or are cutting costs ,or are embarrassed with the fact it wil look like any other landrover, given the big talk they were spouting a couple of years ago!
