Td5 is clear. Just shine a torch into the bottom below fluid level and it will illuminate the coolant and show the level

Never thought of that grafty, I've been dipping a finger in the top or squeezing hoses and looking for the movement 2014 - current ..... 2003 defender td5 90 (my car)

I'm waiting on some switches to arrive for alarm and under bonnet lights (as per RRC). I'm going to wire in a light being the expansion tank as well. So every time you open the bonnet, the expansion tank lights up

now thats a good idea , but i`ve gone for a disco td5 tank , gonna put a bottle on the end of the little overflow pipe , and if that fills , i`ll know my headgasket has gone
