So who is camping & where?

Kielder Land Rover Run Camping Facilities
We have a choice of two sites available for camping: one is Kielder Village Campsite, which is a fully serviced site with showers, toilets etc. and will be classed as a quiet site. There are camping pitches, hardstanding pitches including electricity, and also camping pods available (all subject to availability).

Please be sure to read the terms and conditions for staying on this campsite, and please note there is no parking on the grass.

We also have the Kennels Field, which is an off-road camp site suitable for 4x4 type vehicles only. This site will only have portaloos and a water supply; however, you will be able to park on your pitch.

Please make sure to select Kennels Field Vehicle pitch for the off-road camping area.

Just a reminder to anybody booking camping, there is a promotion code which is FC100 which will get you a discount on camping. This was in the email we sent out and some people aren't using it and unfortunately we can't give the discount retrospectively Thumbs Up Cheers Ian

I'll see if I can help Wink Basically in the immediate area not a lot, there is a small village store in Kielder with the emphasis on small. The nearest place with shops etc is Bellingham which is about 18 miles away. Bellingham has a Co-op, bakery, cafes, chemist and a Chinese take away. Also bear in mind fuel, there is a filling station in Bellingham and a unmanned card only filling station in Kielder village. The shop on the camp site sells a few provisions but not a great deal. If there is anything in particular you are looking for let me know and I will see if I can help. Thumbs Up Cheers Ian

Just to add, there is a cafe at the Castle which will be doing food over the course of the weekend and Forward Assist will be around and about selling coffees and teas. There will be a bar at the castle or in a marquee selling other liquid refreshments. Cheers Ian

There is also some entertainment on Saturday evening but I can't find my list at the moment, I seem to remember it was a local group/singer and this will be in and around the castle. Cheers Ian
