16" to 18" what tyres? Mainly road
Hello

Thinking of changing my 16" Sawtooth alloys for 18" and would like to get rid of the spacers.

What tyres would people recommend? (265's I guess) and is it ET0 I need so will mean no spacers

Post pics to help me choose, mainly road bias so nothing too extreme đź‘Ť

Thanks

Hi,
I am a newbie and been thinking about changing my alloys for a while.
Reading through the posts in the “alloys& tyres” section which has been a great help, if I ever decide to go from 16” to 18” then it will be 265 x (65 or 70) R18 tyres, prefebly BFG K02 .
I will be happy with alloy wheels with ET10 since that is enough offset to stop the tyres rubbing.
Good luck.

I've got 285 60 r18 Hankook Ventus ST on mine. They're a road biased tyre but are pretty good off road too Thumbs Up

Likeomg..

What offset are they as they seem to stick out a bit

Loving the carpet for your truck

Why are the current tyres better than the Bf's

carpet? Shocked Oh - yeah we have a pit under there..

And there normally is something a bit more exotic on that side of the garage.

Anyway they are et0

coopers grip better - so much more in the wet, softer sidewalls so ride better - big difference

And i don't think its as noticeable but less road noise...

That’s good to know. I should change my BFGs soon. They’ve got 50k miles on them, still loads of tread but starting to perish. They are pretty horrible in the wet now. I’ve been trying to decide on whether to go with Coopers 2008 Defender 110 XS SW - M57N2 / 6HP28X
