Looking really good.

I need to buy the fuel system parts for my build any time now, any part numbers/advice/pics will be really useful

Got to say, I'm really enjoying the continued attention to detail in this build Andy. Simply a pleasure to check in and see the updates.

I have a question about your Croytec additions. Did you purchase from croytec directly or a supplier? Sent them an email, but had no response.

Love the sprinkle of alloy parts, they look just perfect in the overall mix.

Funny was just confirming a few bits for the interior with John Croydon there. He has always come back to me, can also get hold of him via Facebook messenger Thumbs Up I wouldn’t buy any other alloy parts, the quality of the croytec stuff is superb and I like that they keep the design exactly the same as the original parts and have no branding. Andy

Ok, I will try again with the email, failing that I'll give them a call. Thanks Andy.

Also, agreed, I really like the lack of logos, and parts being shaped as per the orginal. That is what I'm looking for. Thumbs Up

Bit of a boring request Andy, but would you mind explaining what you’ve had to do re registration, tax and insurance as a result of the engine swap?

Cheers

You can’t change the tax code so only engine size and fuel changes on the log book. I am now insured under a modified car policy with an agreed value but it was £1200 this time. Andy

On a positive note we got the fuel pressure issue fixed. New regulator fitted and holding around 50psi. Running smoothly and had a good wee blast with Ged about a few country roads, Geds first comment was “the last one didn’t go like that!” Very Happy So we must have done a good job. Andy

Thumbs Up

You just send a load of pictures and a nice letter to the DVLA and then 6 months later you get a new log book updated Andy

Nice. The gear change sounds very slick. I won’t mention who the supplier was , but I was looking at one on YouTube a few days ago and the gear change looked horrific, the guy driving was being thrown about in his seat!

Plan is: Pay off mortgage, fit a V8. Standard life goals!

Had a great afternoon in it. Took the 2 lads out for a rip and pulled up beside a M5 petrol M at the lights. Obviously he would smoke me but he had no clue what was happening when I took off like thunder Rolling with laughter we met at the next lights and he was laughing. Andy

Sounds very familiar to me, not that much different to the LSA in our HSV GTSR.
As the song goes, "Words are not enough", but an outstanding job by you.
