Fog lamp wiring - help on 2.2 appreciated for MOT
Hi there, the red fog lamp of my 110 2.2 doesn't work any more
Since I had a tow bar (Dixon Bate) connected, I don't know if the wiring is correct. I had to connect the Dixon Bate to the fog lamp switch.

Checked the fuses (10A - F19) and everything seems fine to me. Replaced it anyway.
I tried the fog lamp with head lights turned on.

But it doesn't work.

my wiring is (Connector C0064) :
1 - free
2 - orange/red
3 - free
4 - black/slate
5 - red/yellow

The Defender MY 2012 Electric Wiring Manual indicates 3 cables - but - a black cable instead of the orange/red one

The " Complete Electrical Connector Manual " indicates my colors - and a 4th black cable (which seems to connect it to the header):

This is a bit confusing to me. I have a free red cable there and as I remember : that one is for the tow bar.
And I'm quite sure that it has always worked with 3 cables on it + the red one for the tow bar.

Any help is appreciated since I have to apply for the MOT.

Fog lamp works again.

If you had the 2.2 engine, you'd better forget about the first document posted.

Just follow the 2nd one which is 100% correct
