Interia Lighting and Alarm Connections
Does anyone know why the driver's door switch is wired separately to the other doors? It would appear to be something to do with the AS10 alarm system. But why?
All the other door switches are grouped together and go to the same AS10 connection.

Its related to certain functions of the 10AS. For example by default the vehicle will re-lock if opened with the remote if the driver's door hasnt been opened, regardless od the other doors.

I've disabled the self locking feature after an embarrassing moment at a petrol station. Still, I now know how easy Defenders are to break in to! Peter
