My DRL do that. I get why they stay on once switching off engine, thats the home bit but not sure why they come on when i unlock the doors.

A trigger signal could be taken from the indicator circuit as the indicators flash when locking and unlocking. And I would use a relay to handle the headlamp current, rather than a direct connection to the timer module. As I already have a relay loom fitted to my headlamps, I might be tempted to experiment myself ![]() |
