United Kingdom 2013 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Santorini Black
Inward facing rear seats in a 90
Good evening all,
I have put a wanted request in the for sale section for some td5 rear inward facing seats as mine have been removed at some point by the previous owner. If I can’t find any used ones I will have to go new but searching on here and searching Google I can’t find any part numbers and indeed a list of what I need. I have the bars fitted on both rear wheel box’s but nothing else. It is a genuine station wagon and I want to keep it genuine parts if I can.
Any suggestions or advice welcomed

Cheers

Jez

This will help you out with part numbers (scroll down to the bottom on left for Td5):

Seems from a quick look that you can't buy the whole seat assembly as one item with all the fittings etc. You would have to buy everything individually, and as these are Td5-specific parts (i.e. not used on the newer Puma Defenders), they are likely to be pretty expensive.

Your best option for genuine ones would be trying to find a set from a scrapped Td5 SW, or a set someone has removed. eBay is probably the best starting place.

Alternatively, Exmoor Trim do their own version of these seats, which are very similar to the genuine items:

(I have no experience of them, so can't comment on quality / fitting etc. I just know they do them). 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green

Are the seatbelts and buckles still there? Or have these been removed?

If the seatbelt mounting bars are still there, are the tubular strengthening bars that tie back to the rear crossmember still there in the wheel arches? Guessing they will be. 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green

If you end buying new, these exmpor ones are much more comfortable https://www.exmoortrim.co.uk/inward-facing-fold-up.html Cheers

Yes the bars and the bulkhead strengthened are still there but no seatbelts or seats.

I’ll have a look at the parts catalogue in a minute as I need to work out if the inward facing seats in a 110 td5 are the same as a 90 as I have been offered some from my wanted add.

Thanks Green machine👍

The exmore ones look good but I’m on a tight budget and £600+ is more than I can afford at the moment, but thanks for the spot JST

Well it looks to me from the parts lists that the 90 inward facing seats are the same as the 110 td5 inward facing seats as there is no differation stated.
Does anybody know anything different? Are they definitely the same?

Many thanks for all of your time in helping me out by the way.

It’s very much appreciated

Yes, they're definitely the same. It's not just TD5 seats, either. Whilst the fabric may vary, the seat design was pretty much unchanged for the entire production run, up to the introduction of the Puma model. Darren
