[SOLD] 2010 2.4 TDCI (Puma) Defender 90

Now Sold.

Brand new photos added a couple of posts below.
Priced at £22995 - open to offers.

I have been contemplating for some time, but have decided to test the water and see how much interest I get.

Ive owned this Defender around 2 years, I love it, but it’s not the right vehicle for my lifestyle anymore unfortunately.

2010 2.4 TDCI with full service history, split between main dealer and independent specialist. Fresh MOT, not due now until 24th December 2019. Passed with no advisories. I have a huge folder of receipts and paperwork, together with a full set of keys and fobs. It has electric windows, traction control and ABS fitted from factory.

Mileage circa 62k, but is used so will continue to change.

My Defender has been Extensively upgraded and improved. This isn’t your every day Defender, and chances are if you are searching on this forum for one, you will understand the work (and money!) that has gone into this one.
Maintained regardless of cost to the highest standard. If even the smallest thing needs addressing, it is done without hesitation.

The Overall condition should be described as excellent, especially for age. A couple of small marks here and there but nothing unexpected for age and mileage, including some stone chips on the front.
All the common issues with Defenders of this age have been addressed;

- The Chassis was treated by Chris from this forum, meaning it is in great shape and will continue for years to come.
- Injectors and seals replaced
- Clutch (Clutchfix HD) together with upgraded release bearing and upgraded master cylinder fitted
- Upgrade output shaft (correctly greased!)
- EGR switched off AND blanked
- VCV replaced and a re-learn carried out
- Front Swivel hubs rebuilt
- Diff seals replaced
- Fuel tank pipes replaced

Modification wise, I will list out the parts that have been fitted & work that has been carried out, but the Defender needs to be seen and driven to be appreicated :

Chassis;
- Full chassis treatment.
- Replacement suspension springs (-1” lower)
- Bilstein Steering Damper
- Bilstein B6 Shock absorbers
- Front Steering guard / protector – Powder coated Gloss Black

Exterior;
- Roof painted Land Rover Santorini Black
- Wheel Arches Painted Land Rover Santorini Black
- Rear Chassis Member and Tow plate painted Land Rover Santorini Black
- Front Bumper painted Santorini Black and fitted with DRL LED lights
- Front Indicator replaced with LED unit
- Front side lights replaced with LED unit
- Front headlamps replaced with LED units
- Side repeaters fitted with LED bulbs
- Front Grill and headlight surrounds replaced with Gloss Black items
- Black Chequer plate on wing tops and side sills
- Wing top and side vents replaced with KBX Gloss black items
- Gloss black, heated mirrors
- Side steps fitted, powder coated gloss black
- Gloss Black 16” Sawtooth alloy wheels with BFG All Terrain tyres fitted (standard sizes)
- Side windows installed (tinted glass)
- Front window wind deflectors
- Rear windows tinted
- Rear side / brake lights replaced with genuine “NAS” LED units
- Rear indicators replaced with genuine “NAS” LED units
- Rear Fog replaced with genuine “NAS” LED unit
- Rear Reverse light replaced with genuine “NAS” LED unit
- New Genuine Mud flaps and brackets fitted
- Gloss black Defender and Land Rover badges fitted
- Rear “Swinging” Spare Wheel Carrier
- Spare 16” Gloss Black Sawtooth Wheel and BFG tyre (unused)
- Security Gloss black rear door hinges
- Security Gloss black front door hinges
- Security Gloss black door handles
- Security Gloss Black bonnet hinges
- Defender Adventure addition “90” Sticker

Interior;
- Full sound deadening kit fitted by “dynamat” to front and rear.
- Full carpet set from “Exmoor trim” fitted, front and rear
- Seats replaced with XS half leather premium seats.
- Seat bases replaced with comfort option (larger seat base)
- Exmoor trim premium cubby box in matching XS half leather
- MUD UK Cubby Tidy
- Heated seats
- Dash trimmed in leather
- Glove box fitted, trimmed in leather
- Gloss black centre console
- Momo Steering wheel
- Optimill detachable steering wheel boss kit
- Rear internal window trims fitted
- Bulkhead fully carpeted.
- Full headlining fitted
- Pioneer amplifier, powering;
- Focal audio component speakers, front
- Focal audio full range speakers, rear
- JL Audio amplifier powering;
- JL Audio Subwoofer in customer enclosure
- Motorized 7” Pioneer Apple Car play head unit / screen with Nav, DAB etc
- Reverse Camera
- Ultra gauge professionally installed into dash cluster
- Cruise control
- Leather door pulls
- USB Power outlet in Glove Box

Engine / Transmission;
- Superchips bluefin remap installed, controller included
- ITG Air filter
- Straight through exhaust system
- Allisports MOT friendly de-cat
- EGR switched off in software
- EGR blanked physically
- Clutchfix HD clutch
- Land Rover upgraded release bearing and slave cylinder
- Land Rover upgraded Gearbox output shaft

Security;
- Lots, but will not disclose until deal agreed with buyer, I hope that is understandable.

What a lovely looking truck! Is it a hard top with windows cut in or a station wagon with the seats taken out and the arches squared off?

Thank you - it’s a HT with Windows, interior trims etc fitted, just no rear seats - Which can be added as sold by Exmoor Trim

Yes that picture was taken just before fitting them.

TMD handles and hinges for doors and bonnet, Optimil for rear boot as the TMD ones weren’t compatible with the rear wheel carrier. My 90 Project : http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic52774.html

Like I said I’d love this to go to someone who appreciates it and would listen to offers below the asking price.

They are great fun, loss of character, so glad I’ve had one, but I have a van and a motorbike now so really just an excessive vehicle
