Its vin tells it was originally a basic (hardtop, pickup or soft top) diesel. But at some point was converted with a genuine Land Rover 21G 3.5V8 and the interior looks very original, although the condition makes me wonder when how old it is... Please tell him not to convert that lovely vehicle to a full soft top, as a summer play vehicle. He thinks it is his vehicle and he can do want he wants with it. Nope! |

Thank you JOW240725. I bought a set of early Td5 sliding windows, so might convert my 1988 90 to a SW. I think it would be safer for my kids. For the outside, I am in the belief that the windows location (fore/aft, top/bottom) remained the same through all the years. So for that I can measure. Internal trim is what I would like to replicate and I do not know anyone local that has an early one to be able to copy. I think the early ones are more series ish. I only know Td5 and later trim unfortunately.
