ET0 Offset Rim as a Spare?
If you run ET0 rims should you match the spare wheel with same offset? Confused

I'm just thinking maybe the standard off-set would be better for the spare (whether it be on the rear door or bonnet) to keep it closer to the body, less stress? But is it OK to temporarily run a standard offset rim when the rest are ET0?

TIA Bow down James

The advantage to having a non matching spare is that it forces you to get the punctured tyre sorted (instead of not getting that done next week Whistle )

I'd imagine though that it would be horrible to drive if it were on the front.

I have an 18" ET10 on my back door with no ill effects Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

Yes I have done this - no worse than a space saver as long as the diameter of the tyre is the same
