Obvs no Defender, but the top-slot might surprise you. Which would be your steed?:

I don't understand fast SUVs.
Admittedly they are the only SUVs that justify the S in the name, though none of them earn the U part.

If you wanted a fast car that can haul lots of people, what's wrong with a big Audi? They'll do everything better aside from off roading, and it's not like you'd take any of the cars in that list off roading anyway. Making a big top heavy vehicle fast it nothing more than willy waving.

Bah humbug.

Were I a mega rich person I'd get wafted round in an old Rolls. None of this new fangled nonsense.

Everyone bemoans Lamborghini for doing an SUV, but forgets they had one in the 80s!

We've had a few Mk2 Cayennes - the best of which was the twin turbo V8 Diesel, 850nm of torque...

The latest front end design of the cayenne is a backwards step in my eyes, but still the pick of the bunch. Good residuals too - our first held over 80% of value after 2.5 years.

Ahh, the LM002 - a real man's SUV:

It's a shame the new ones don't use the V12. Darren

What's the definition of an SUV? The Tesla, along with some other looks like a car to me. Not that it really matters, they're all awesomely quick!

Surprised not to see the RRS SVR in there? James

At 4.5 seconds to 62mph, it's glacially slow in this company. Darren

^^^ Nuts when you think that just a generation ago, 4.5secs was mind-bogglingly fast.

Just got to be the Jeep.

Why? Earlier this year at 130kph + (BAS tune + limiter removed) on an unrestricted autobahn the Defender was left standing by a stealth black Grand Cherokee V8 hemi which disappeared into the middle distance much faster than anything else that went by!

There ain't no substitute for cubic inches Twisted Evil

I guess hence the old phrase - there's no replacement for displacement.

But I like your version better
