Mechanical Advice
The Wife’s car needs at least one new CV joint. Click click click. It a 2009 W169 Merc A150 manual. To do it, I need to know the hub nut torque but there is very little info on these cars out there. Does anyone know where I can find figure? 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

Sorry I can't help with the figures, but if you undo it with a torque wrench by gradually increasing the setting, you'll know what its set to (approximately) at the moment.

It’s an idea, but I’m not sure it’ll give a reading of any use. There’ll be a lot of stiction to overcome as the bolts haven’t moved in a decade so it’ll likely give a falsely high reading I think. Plus, my torque wrench doesn’t work in reverse. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

Thanks JWL. That page is for the previous W168 model. It may or may not be the same, but the two models are substantially different so I wouldn’t like to guess. I ordered the chaps “DVD” in case it has more information on the W169 contained, but for now, still looking for the info. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

Wheel nuts are 5 ugga duggas, unless you work at Kwik Fit, then it's 6 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS
