Viscous fan removal tool
Made a simple tool

Distance between holes 70mm

Bolts 25mm m10 coach bolts

Drill 2 holes in something substantial that’ll take a wee bit of sideways movement ( I found a piece of aluminium about 6mm thick )

Insert bolts, nut them up, job done Thumbs Up

Using a 36mm spanner on the nut, give it a tap with a hammer anti clockwise and off you go

I have a spanner I put on the flats. A short sharp hit with a hammer cracks it loose enough to undo it normally 2014 - current ..... 2003 defender td5 90 (my car)

I did try that to start with, but it didn’t help.

This allowed the slight tension on the pulley for the tap to be effective
