Lower grille fixings - rivets or bolts?
Hi All

I'm following the well trodden path of replacing my lower grille for something better made. Question is, do I replace with rivets or with stainless bolts?

Suggestions, advice and links of what to buy would be gratefully received.

Thanks

I went for nylon nuts and bolts. Zero chance of corrosion and it's obviously not a structural part. Darren

I used stainless steel torx head machine screws with washers and nyloc nuts.

@LandRoverAnorak @Mwd - what size bolts did you use (I've yet to take my grille off)? M5?

Thanks

Yeah, I think they were M5. There's some more detail here, although annoyingly, not the bolt size Rolling Eyes

Mine were 12mm x M5 from Westfield fasteners.
