I've been driving my 2.4 now for 8 months, and usually get somewhere between 420-450 Miles on a tank... this is 30% city, 30% Highway, and the rest on varying back roads up to 80km/h.

I run the tyre pressures as factory (very hard), and don't rev over 2000, sometimes though max 2500rpm.

I think if I ran the more expensive diesel, I would get more range Smile

Oddly enough, I can get 100+ miles before the fuel gauge even moves from above full Razz then 40 miles on the first quarter, 80-100 on each quarter after that. Generally though once the light comes on, it drops fast. 2008, 2.4 Puma 110, Silver, 7 seats, sunroof, Winter pack, not enough mud on it!

Amazing. Filled up my tank yesterday. Drove 537.1 km and filled up again: 68.16 l. Almost only highway cruising 100-110 km/h. Really can't understand how you guys get those mileages on a single tank! 😅

Anyways. Recently switched to 285 tires so maybe I should try cruising at 40? Mr. Green

Best I could ever get from my 2015 USW was 22 mpg, however it did have a lot of bolt on bits hence a lot of weight, it had 18" wheels with mud terrain tyres and a roof rack with LED light bar to reduce efficiency.

..im regularly scoring 750-770Km on full tank..mind you, top speed on the highway is 85, max 95 kmh..faster than this and range i mentioned is not possible..so it seems rpm between 1600-1900 on 6th gear, gives best range that i was able to reach(770Km, and still no orangy light but needle is close to lowest line)..

My 110 2.2 TDCi.

Typical mixed (country lanes, town, A road and DCW) is typically 28MPG.

A long steady run on A roads (50 - 55 MPH) and it's in to the low 30s MPG.

erm....its been that long I can't remember.
it was either the standard conti or the standard good years - no idea on pressures but again would be close to factory recommended. sorry.
I think the thing to note here is I'm driving slowly - deliberately slow to achieve best mpg's.

I’ve just been on a road trip to Cornwall in my 2.4 Puma and managed to get 375 miles from a full tank to the fuel light illumination. I thought that’s was pretty good even with some bad traffic hold ups.

I used premium diesel and always add Millers fuel enhancer. Not sure if it helps but makes me feel good about wanting to protect the fuel system and engine. Ride like you stole it!!
If I’m not on a bike it’s because only a 4x4 will do…
