Hmmm... well it is always worth refreshing details at renewal just incase theres anything that needs tweaking (vehicle value etc) but as I've mentioned before certain insurers will cover the modified vehicle but exclude Mods in a claim so I'd double check that alternate quote as just because you've listed the mods doesn't always mean they're covered - we use LV as one of our insurers and the policies we have with them are standard cover so we do not put modified vehicles with them (may have different terms going to them directly so worth checking).
